modifications and features a full-length Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny rail on
top. Now you can mount a modern tactical sight system (red-dot/holo sight,

The scout mount will not preclude the use of iron
sights, or interfere with receiver-mounted scope bases. Fits Carbine

This accessory fits all models of the Mini-Scout-Mount™
allowing the shooter to quickly attach most makes of tactical flashlights, laser
sights, IR illuminators, and other accessories. It is easily installed on
either side for right or left-handed shooters (or both sides for two
accessories) and in different positions for use of larger accessories. It
is secured to the mount body with two screws and the wrench provided.
Choose between the Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny (standard or long length) or the
Glock® style which accepts Weaver style rings.
The Mil-Std 1913 Picatinny standard length measures 2.0 inches; the Mil-Std
1913 Picatinny long length measures 3.95 inches

Technologies Ruger 10/22 Recoil Buffer
The Ruger 10/22 Bolt Buffer™ replaces the bolt stop pin at the rear
of the receiver. This bolt stop pin stops the bolt from crashing into the
rear of the alloy receiver and in doing so transfers that energy to the
drilled receiver holes. This abrupt transfer of energy can affect zero on
scoped rifles. Repeated cycling will cause elongation of these holes and
eventual damage to the receiver. The solution is to replace the plain
steel pin with a durable material possessing the proper elasticity. The
Ruger Bolt Buffer™ is manufactured from an advanced polymer that will
decelerate the bolt more gradually, reducing the already low felt recoil
of your 10/22 and allowing for quicker set-up for the next shot.
Installation is a breeze. You just need a screwdriver, and
in a couple of minutes you're ready to head for the range. You can feel
the difference the first time you shoot it.
For owners of suppressed 10/22s, the Bolt Buffer™ will significantly
reduce the cycling noise of the action by eliminating the slap of the
steel bolt on the steel pin. On an acoustically efficient suppressed

The
Quad-Clip Holder and Dual-Clip Holder are
designed to utilize the Ruger 10-Shot rotary magazine,
the most reliable magazine for the 10/22. By attaching 4 10/22 Ruger
clips the the Quad-Clip Holder, the shooter has rapid
access to 40 rounds of dependable firepower while still retaining the
feeding reliability of the Ruger factory original
magazine. An additional 44 rounds (or other items) can be stored inside

The E&L
Ventilated Barrel Shrouds, or Non-Ventilated Barrel Shrouds are
constructed of aircraft aluminum with a hard black satin finish.
The ventilated
barrel shrouds feature oval-shaped holes giving the firearm a machine
gun look while the Non-Ventilated Barrel Shroud gives the appearance of

The Ruger .44 Carbine and the
Ruger 10/22
At first glance these two rifles appear
to be very similar. From its debut in 1964, the 10/22 was marketed as an
“ideal hunting companion” to Ruger’s first rifle, the .44 Magnum
Carbine. The .44 Magnum Carbine was introduced in 1959. Barrel length,
safety, sights, barrel band, and stock, are identical. The 10/22 weighs
about 5 pounds and the .44 weighs in at 5.75 pounds. However, the internal
mechanisms are as different as night and day.
Although the .44 carbine was
discontinued in 1985, the 10/22 lives on and is considered the most
popular .22 rifle on the planet with over 4 million produced since 1964.
Operation of the Ruger 10/22
Carbines
The 10/22 uses a rotary magazine.
Retracting the bolt handle cocks the internal hammer and compresses the
recoil spring. When the bolt is manually released it moves forward (driven
by the recoil spring), strips a cartridge from the magazine (if magazine
is loaded) and chambers the cartridge. The bolt is held against the
chambered cartridge by the recoil spring. When the trigger is pulled, the
hammer is released and strikes the firing pin which indents the cartridge
case rim and ignites the priming compound inside the rim. As the bullet
leaves the barrel, the bolt is forced rearward automatically, extracting
and ejecting the fired case, and at the same time cocking the hammer and
compressing the recoil spring again. Once the trigger is released the
rifle is ready to fire again and will cycle repeatedly until there are no
more cartridges in the magazine. |
