* These are a high quality fully lined with 3M THINSULATEÔ insulated pair of mittens with the added advantage of being able to generate WARMTH inside the lining through a built-in heating coil powered by 4-AA batteries. (Batteries are not included)

*There is a flat removable battery pack inside a hook and loop sealed pouch on the backside of the mittens that incorporates an easy to operate switch that allows you to turn the heat on or off and select either a HIGH or a LO generation of added warmth.

* By themselves are fully insulated soft inside textured comfortable mittens. There is no-slip material covering the outside inner hands surface for added grip, and they have extended barrel cord adjustable tight fitting cuffs to keep out snow and wind. They also have a wrap band tension adjustment strap to insure a tight and comfortable fit.

* The entire battery pack is removable for washing the mittens without impairing the electronics or for removing when it is not needed.

* Insert 4 AA cell alkaline batteries into each battery pack; connect the wire on the pack to the adapter inside the pouch. To activate HEAT MITT just adjust the three position switch control to the HIGH or LOW heat setting, adjust as needed to meet your comfort needs. To turn the heat off, just move the switch to the OFF position. We recommend that when not using the heat function of your HEAT MITT that you disconnect the battery pack and remove it.

* The heating element is located within an enclosed area inside on the backside of the mitten. The heating element is padded and protected and will WARM the back of your hand enhancing circulation of the warmth, without any discomfort. These are Very Safe using low amperage electronics to eliminate all possibility of a shock or a burn, even when they are wet or snow covered.

* New brand name "AA" alkaline batteries will provide continuous warm heat up to approximately 6 hours on the HIGH setting and up to 8 hours on the LOW setting. For best performance it is highly recommended that you use only high quality alkaline batteries.

* The construction and performance design has been engineered to provide a superior high quality insulated mitten, and they will perform as well or better than any other insulated mitten when the batteries are turned off. With the batteries on, they generate added immediate warmth that will spread over the entire hand and to the end of the fingertips.
