Makita 7 Inch Vertical Polisher 7.9 AMP motor and put it into a 4.1 lb tool. The 7” Vertical Polisher features a Variable Speed Control dial that operates between 600 and 2,000 RPM depending on the user’s needs. In addition to Variable Speed Control, the Makita PV7001C also has Electronic Speed Control, a feature that continuously monitors the working speed of the tool and keeps it consistent with the speed selected by the user. To help support the Electronic Speed Control, the Makita PV7001C also offers a Soft Start circuitry that gradually brings the tool to speed. Soft Start reduces motor stress from startup torque and ultimately extends the life of the tool. The convenient slide switch toggles between a low speed and an adjustable variable speed: With a simple flip of a switch, the PV7001C can operate either at 600 RPM or between 600 and 2,000RPM.
