Machined from: Domestic 6061 T6 Extruded Aluminum
Finish: Matte Black
Mounting Hardware: Hex head screws and wrench provided
Overall Length: 5.882"
Barrel Taper (Win 52): Yes, the end of my barrel measures less than .750"
Our Winchester 52 mount is made specific to the gun, although it does fit on a Kimber 82C, 82G, H&R 12, Winchester 75, BSA Martini Mk 2 and Mk 3, as well as an Anschutz 64 and a Remington 37.
If your Winchester has a TAPERED BARREL (very front of the barrel measures less than .750") , you will need a negative 20 MOA. The tapered barrel automatically gives you a 20 MOA, the negative will bring you back to 0 MOA. You will need to remove the barrel blocks in order to install this mount. The mount will then screw into the barrel (screws are provided).
Picatinny cross slots run the full length of the rail, which gives the shooter flexibility when mounting scope rings and other accessories.
The channel in the center reduces the overall mass of the mount, weighing in at 2-3oz on average.
Also, in many cases, it will not obstruct usage of factory iron sights.
EGW's one piece scope mounts are the obvious choice for hunters and tactical shooters alike.
Add EGW's Practical or HD Scope Rings to make it a complete overhaul!
This mount is a Picatinny-style base and compatible with Picatinny or Weaver scope rings.
Installation: EGW recommends 20 inch lbs of torque and a drip of blue loctite.
