Read Important Info Below PRIOR To Ordering:

For guns made before about 1987 you might have a 20ga gun made on a 12ga receiver. If your magazine tube will take a 12ga shell then you have one of the older guns that needs the 12ga extension.

The light weight is for the Remington guns made after 1987 when they went to a smaller frame for the 20ga guns. Remington guns made before 87 are built on 12ga receivers and use 12ga extensions.

Using the 7 shot extension as an example shotgun capacity for a magazine extension is figured 1 round in the chamber and 6 rounds of 2 3/4 inch shells in the magazine tube. The new model Remington 870/1100/1187 shotguns have dimples that will have to be drilled out with 3/16 drill bit before the spring will extend up into the magazine extension. The older model Remington 870/1100/1187 will readily accept our extensions without any alterations.

+3 Remington 870 20 ga Extension

Ordered +3 extension for a 20 ga. Remington 870 Youth gun (21.5" barrel). Extension is maybe 0.5" to 1" shy of the tip of the barrel. Shipping was fast (2 days I believe) and the package had a hand written, "Thank you for your purchase" from the Country Shed. *NOTE: This produce INCLUDES a new spring - No need to buy a separate spring for the kit. All parts were new in box and fit well/as described.

Home defender

I bought the 7-shot and 8-shot magazine to place on two different Remington 870 20 gauges. Installation was a breeze; simply had to drill out 2 indentations on the original magazine holder with a 3/16 bit. Both look very nice, with the 8-shot extender stopping about an inch short of the barrel. In retrospect, I wish I had ordered 2 of the 8-shot tubes, but am very happy with the purchase. Both guns feed nicely.

20ga 10 round extention kit

Everything went on well, no drilling for my vintage gun. I have a 25" barrel which the extention tube surpassed by about 2". Functions flawlessly with 10 + 1 capacity. I purchased an extra mag-spring unnecessarily as the kit comes with one that is the perfect length. Good extention kit with everything you need !

Magazine tube Ext

This is a great magazine extension for the Remington 870 in 20 gauge. Mine has the 18.5 inch and the plus 2 round tube looks great. I don’t like the sling mount and the follower. But the spring that comes with this kit works great with a Wilson combat follower. I made my own sling plate for a sling.
