INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR THE ARGENTINE 1891 #ARG90

Push the pin out at the rear of the rear flip sight. Don’t lose this pin as it will be used to install the S&K mount. Remove the flip up sight, then the spring by sliding it forward and lifting it out. The spring may require you to remove a screw that holds it in place. Slide the special flange nut into the undercut at the front of the sight where the spring was. Keep the smooth edges toward the front & rear. Place the mount over the special flange nut & align the hole in the side of the receiver where the pin was removed with the side hole in the mount. Install the pin you removed from the OEM ladder sight. Put the 10-32 x 3/8 flat head screw through the mount and into the nut & tighten loosely. Put the 10-32 x 5/16 set screw down through the tapped hole in the top of the mount and tighten against the receiver. Tighten the set screw only as tight as you can using the short end of the allen wrench. Tighten the 10-32 x 3/8 flathead screw. The purpose of the set screw is to keep pressure on the side pin so it can’t back out & take up any slop there may be between the pin & holes.
