To install your mount, place the side plate on the left of the receiver, with mounting rails engaged into the grooves cut into the receiver. Install the washer, then install the screw and lock the side plate into place by tightening the screw securely. (We changed from the previous thumb screw to the heavy washer and 12-32 x 5/8th SHCS) Put the top-plate in place, and tighten the socket head cap screws. Install the scope rings according to instructions found on box.
