This scope is perfect for a deer hunt as it has a 3-9 variable power for a range of distances. The mil-dot reticle will allow you to measure the distance with a size reference and give you the proper hold over or reference hold point for wind. The 40mm objective will allow for low light visibility.
Most scopes these days have an exposed turret for manually adjusting your shot. This scope has the traditional turret caps so you can shoot the rifle in and not worry about changing your zero.
With the mil-dots, you will have a point of reference for hold over or windage to reproduce a shot or adjust your point of aim for a follow up shot. This scope comes complete with medium profile rings for your Weaver or picatinny rail.
