Buffer Technologies AK-47 / Saiga/ Valmet / Galil Recoil Buffer

I purchased this product for my Saiga-12, in my efforts to make the weapon a bit more reliable in the field. I've heard some reviews stating that it can cause failure to feed. Though I haven't tested my weapon since installing the buffer, I know from a mechanical standpoint that the negative YouTube reviewer is full of bologna. Simply adjust the gas settings on a 6 position bleeder for the Saiga shotguns, or if it occurs on an AK rifle then the issue is corrected by changing, or modifying the recoil spring/s on the guide rod. That being said, I carefully examined the material, and the buffer checks out. It should last well beyond the advertised, and intended lifespan of the product. I would recommend cleaning, or soaking the buffer pad with Marvel Mystery, or a similar oil from time to time, as it will soften the rubber, and prevent it from drying, and cracking. It does shorten the action in my Saiga to the point that the bolt cannot be held open by the safety selector, however I'm installing a Tom Cole BHO, removing the left side commie rail, and modifying the receiver to install a left side selector, which can be actuated with a quick flick of thumb, somewhat similar to what the Polish AK uses.
